Application

Applications will be accepted from February 2-May 26, 2009, and should include the following:

  1. A description of your background, teaching experiences, and participation in teaching enhancement opportunities (i.e. seminars, collaborations, leadership activities, etc.)  Include topics you would like to develop for your classroom using the Indiana Curriculum Framework.
  2. An explanation of what you hope to gain from the SBII program.
  3. A current resume.
  4. A recommendation letter/letter of support from your school principal or district administrator that includes a written statement agreeing to provide professional development release time of 2 days per academic year, for 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, in order to attend your content area’s state teacher meeting.
  5. A completed copy of the attached SBII application form.
