Earth & Atmospheric Sciences Minor

Students who wish to complement their major area of study with coursework in the earth and atmospheric sciences may be interested in the department's minor program. The earth and atmospheric sciences minor requires completion of the following courses:

EAS 10900 - Dynamic Earth or EAS 11100 - Physical Geology

EAS 22100 - Introduction to Atmospheric Science OR EAS 22500 - Science of the Atmosphere
AND
EAS 23000 - Laboratory in Atmospheric Science
    (or EAS 23500 - Atmospheric Observations and Measurements I if taken before Fall 2003)

A minor in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences consists of at least 10 credits beyond the courses listed above. No more than one of the courses taken to meet the requirement of at least 10 additional EAS credits hours may be at the 10000 level.
