Field Geoscience for
Pre- and In-Service Teachers
Field-based geoscience is too often under-used in the education of pre- and in-service elementary school teachers. The reasons for this are many, but we have conducted research to show how valuable this can be in building solid content knowledge in the earth sciences.
This site is under continuous development and new materials, references, extended abstracts, and articles will be added as they are ready. Updated February, 2009.
