Research
Areas of specialty of the PSI directors and their research groups include modern and paleo-hydrology, N cycling in the upper and lower atmosphere, ice core records of climate change, biogeochemical cycling of C,N in forests and grassland, paleosol environment and climate reconstruction, and molecular proxies for ecosystem and environmental dynamics in soils and lake sediments.
