Soil weathering under Early Paleogene greenhouse climates

We are applying a soil mineral weathering model to investigate the response of soil mineral weathering to transient global warming during the Paleocene-Eocene thermal maximum. Results of this study will improve climatological interpretations based on sedimentary mineral assemblages and lead to refined estimates of weathering feedbacks on the early Paleogene carbon cycle.
