College of Science using ITaP's outage notification system

In order to provide a convenient single source of outage information, the College of Science has parterned with ITaP to begin using ITaP's outage notification service. This service allows users to select the services they are interested in and be notified via e-mail when there is an unscheduled outage. Scheduled outages are sent via e-mail on Wednesday afternoons.

In the trial phase of this venture, two EAS services are included: hypocenter file shares (listed as "College of Science - File Shares - Earth and Atmospheric") and network printing (listed as "College of Science - Printing - Earth and Atmospheric"). Outage notifications are available are also available for a variety of ITaP-provide services, such as e-mail, Blackboard Vista, and Blackberry.
