Linux software updates

The NCL and IDV packages will be updated for EAS Linux machines on Wednesday, July 15. The updates will be for Red Hat 5 machines only. NCL will be updated to version 5.1.1 from version 5.0.0. Test builds are available in:

  /project/devo/b/ncl-5.1.1            (32-bit)

  /project/devo/b/ncl-5.1.1-x86_64     (64-bit)

Note that you will have to set the NCARG_ROOT environment variable to the appropriate directory above.

IDV is being upgraded to version 2.7 from version 2.5. A test build is available in

  /project/devo/b/idv-2.7
