Linux kernel upgrade scheduled

RedHat has released a new version of the kernel for RedHat Enterprise 4, which includes several security updates. In order to maintain a secure computing environment, all EAS Linux machines will receive this new kernel at 6 AM on Tuesday, December 2. The upgrade will force a reboot, so please plan your jobs accordingly. If you have any questions, please contact eas-itap@purdue.edu.
