Office 2007 files

By now, all EAS-supported Windows machines should have Office 2007 with the exception of those who have requested reverting to Office 2003. If you still need 2007 installed, please e-mail eas-itap@purdue.edu. If you need to open Office 2007 documents on your personally-owned computers but do not have Office 2007, you have several options. The first option is to purchase Office 2007 from the Boiler Copy Maker in the Purdue Memorial Union. The free office suite from www.openoffice.org now contains support for the Office 2007 document format. Mircosoft also makes a converter, available at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HA100444731033.aspx.
