MSN Featured Offers e-mails

A wave of e-mails beginning "You are receiving this e-mail because you subscribed to MSN Featured Offers." is being sent from various @purdue.edu e-mail addresses using a variety of subjects. This is not a legitimate message from Microsoft. DO NOT CLICK the "Unsubscribe" or any other links in that message. You may see this message appearing as if it came from your account. However, e-mail can appear to be sent from an arbitrary e-mail address. Absent other problems, this is not cause for concern.

As a reminder, you should never click links in an e-mail. Either copy and paste the link into your browser (checking to make sure the site appears to be legitimate -- purdue.edu instead of purdue.com, for example) or type the website in by hand. Never open attachments you do not expect.
