Legacy hypocenter shares to be removed
Last year, the EAS Technology Support staff changed how file shares are advertised by hypocenter. All group shares map to
\\hypocenter.eas.purdue.edu\group\[groupname]
(using 'group' in place of 'project-a', 'project-b', etc) and individual file spaces map to
\\hypocenter.eas.purdue.edu\user\[username] (using 'user' instead of 'eas-a', 'eas-b', etc).
During this time, both the old method and the new method have been available. As of 10 AM on Tuesday, August 5, the old method will no longer be available. Windows and Mac users who still use the old method will need to change to the new method. See below for a chart describing the conversion.
