Office 2007 upgrade

The OnePurdue Team has approved the use of Microsoft Office 2007 in conjunction with SAP and related tools. As a result, EAS Technology Support plans to upgrade departmental Windows machines from version 2003 to Version 2007 this summer. Office 2007 provides a greatly changed interface, so ITaP is offering training classes for those who wish to familiarize Themselves with the new version. If you are interested, we recommend you register at http://www.itap.purdue.edu/training/courselisting.cfm?ID=120
as soon as possible.

EAS plans to update all Windows machines the morning of Tuesday, August 5. Anyone who wishes to receive the upgrade ahead of this date may do so by sending a request (please include your computer name, e.g. 1397-EAS-001) to eas-itap@purdue.edu.

If you believe the planned August 5 upgrade date will cause significant difficulty in your area, please contact eas-itap@purdue.edu to determine if another date should be selected.
