Backup services unavailable tonight
The tape robot that provides backup service to EAS has experienced a mechanical problem. As a result, backup services are unavailable. No restores can be performed until the robot is repaired. Tonight's scheduled backup of hypocenter will not occur. The hardware is expected to be fixed late on Thursday. At this time, we expect that the Thursday night backup cycle will occur as scheduled. ITaP reported last night that the backup service has been restored. The overnight backup runs completed successfully.
