E-mail scam directed at Purdue accounts

By now, you should have all seen an e-mail sent out through Purdue News
warning of an e-mail scam that targets the Purdue community.  Many Purdue
e-mail addresses received a message claiming to be from the Purdue Webmail
Team.  This message directs you to the Purdue Webmail page and asks you to
enter your password.  This is not a legitimate message.

If you entered your password, please change it immediately by visiting
http://www.purdue.edu/securepurdue

As a general reminder, you should never give your password to anyone.  If
you receive a link in an e-mail telling you to visit a page (Purdue Webmail,
your bank, eBay, etc) do not click the link.  Instead, type the main webpage
into your browser and log in from there.

If you receive e-mail that claims to be from Purdue and seems suspicious,
please check the following websites for information:
