Windows reboot requested
ITaP's Desktop Computing Services group, which provides much of the back-end
support for EAS Windows machines, has requested that all EAS Windows
computers be rebooted. This is to ensure that some recent security patches
are fully applied.
Laptop users are asked to connect their laptops to the network for at least
four hours to allow patches to be applied. This should be done on a regular
basis (toward the end of each month is ideal).
Please reboot your Windows machines this afternoon when you leave or Monday
morning when you arrive. If you have any questions or encounter problems,
please contact eas-itap@purdue.edu.
