Emergency server shutdown

Overnight, the air conditioner in the EAS machine room failed. As a result, the temperature has climbed rapidly. In order to protect data, we have scaled back on the number of running servers, following machines have been placed out of service pending AC repairs

There is a whole cadre of repair technicians here, but they are still trying to diagnose the problem. Services on hypocenter will be allowed to run as long as possible. Further updates will be sent via e-mail and posted to the EAS IT website (www.purdue.edu/eas/resources/it) as they become available.
