Important: In order to connect to your home directory from off campus that is NOT connected via ResNet,
you must first connect to the VPN service.
From a PC running Windows:
1. Right click the Start menu.
2. Click Explore.
3. On the Tools menu, click Map Network Drive.
4. In Drive, select a drive letter.
5. In Folder, type
\\hypocenter.eas.purdue.edu\
and click "Browse."
6. Browse to the desired directory. The table below gives detail about the different directories.

7. When prompted, enter your Purdue Career Account login and password
If you are running Windows XP/2000/NT, you may need to use the option on the Map Network Drive window Connect using different user name and enter your Purdue Career Account login and password. With Windows 98, your local User name must match your Purdue Career Account login.
From a Mac:

From Mac OS X 10.1 or higher
In the Finder, click on the Go menu
Select "Connect to Server"
In the "Server Address:" field enter
smb://hypocenter.eas.purdue.edu/{desired share}

Click the "+" button on the right side of the field to
add this address to your favorites.
Leave the "WorkGroup or Domain" field at the default setting
Enter your Purdue career account login for "Name" and your Purdue career account password for "Password"
