E-mail

Please find below FAQ's for e-mail:

How do I access the full internet headers of an e-mail?

If you have need to access the full internet headers of an e-mail message (for example, to report spam), please see the following ITaP Knowledge Base article:

https://www.purdue.edu/goldanswers/app/portlets/results/viewsolution.jsp?solutionid=040967644925293

I have reached my e-mail quota. How do I reduce my usage?

Mailhub and Exchange users both recieve 500 MB of e-mail storage. The first step to reducing usage is to delete unneeded e-mails. You may also reduce usage by ensuring that your "Deleted Items" and "Junk E-mail" have been permanently deleted (see your e-mail program's help information for further details).

If the above steps are not sufficient, you may need to move some e-mail to an archive file.

Outlook users

Create a PST file, preferably stored on hypocenter (for example Z:\archive.pst) for security and backup purposes. Instructions for creating a PST file can be found at:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829971

Mozilla Thunderbird users
